ISS-Schrole Advantage iFair® Hits Record Volume Numbers for International Education Recruitment

Princeton, NJ, USA (November 27, 2018) – The iFair®, a virtual job fair for international educators, kicked off the season with enormous participation, recording record numbers for the start of the 2018-19 recruitment season. The November 17, 2018 iFair included an astounding 735 candidate registrations, more than 90% participation rate, 40 hiring schools, and 13,213 visits to the virtual school booths.

“It was so exciting,” said Laura Light, Director of Global Recruitment for International Schools Services (ISS), “As soon as registration opened up, we had a significant influx of candidates and schools wanting to attend our iFair as well as the upcoming in-person events in Atlanta, Bangkok, and San Francisco. Response has been overwhelming, in a good way! We’re thrilled to be able to offer even greater service and more innovative technology to support recruitment efforts.”

International Schools Services (ISS) first launched the iFair® in 2014 as a way to embrace emerging technology to support educators worldwide. The 2018 iFair utilized an entirely new virtual fair platform which supported booth visits as well as new live video call interactions. At the start of the 2018-19 season, ISS collaborated with Schrole Group to launch the much larger ISS-Schrole Advantage recruiting ecosystem, which included a more advanced candidate management system and technology features, recruitment events and personalized service. Company officials report that membership numbers have been extremely strong and are on track to exceed initial estimates.

The November fair was the first event this year under the new ISS-Schrole Advantage membership offering. Additional in-person and virtual events are planned for the remainder of the season. Registration is currently open for Atlanta, Bangkok and San Francisco. Individuals must be an ISS-Schrole Advantage Premier member school recruiter or ISS-Schrole Advantage paid candidates with completed, active profiles to participate. Space is limited so interested parties should sign up for membership and register for events at iss-schrole.com/advantage.
